More resources for mental health vs more corporate tax cuts

There is a growing crisis in mental health services in Canada. Virtually every Canadian feels the effects of this problem. More people than ever before (1 in 5 Canadians) are being diagnosed with mental illness - including children, youth, adults and seniors. Our health care system and social services are being stretched to the limit. Unfortunately many people are not getting the help they need. Far too many people with a mental illness end up homeless or in our correctional facilities.  This goes against fundamental Canadian values of compassion and equality.   This is why the All Together Now! Campaign is demanding that governments stop cutting corporate taxes and instead use the money to improve and expand mental health resources for all Canadians.
