The US-owned corporation, Caterpillar Inc., has decided to close its Electro-Motive plant in London, Ontario, throwing more than 500 people out of work.
Caterpillar made record profits last year - close to $5 billion dollars.
The CEO was paid $10 million last year.
Electro-Motive received a $5 million tax break from the Harper government in 2008 - Mr. Harper made the announcement himself on the factory floor.
The company has also benefited hugely from corporate tax cuts by both the Harper and McGuinty governments.
Please visit this link and send a letter to Harper and McGuinty demanding that they stop the corporate tax cut gravy train.
