Read the April/May ATN newsletter
The latest issue of the All Together Now! campaign newsletter is making the rounds to mailboxes and email in-boxes across the country. Inside you'll find lots of great information about quality public services, good jobs, and how to fight for greater tax fairness.

This issue shines a light on the amazing activism which is taking place in workplaces and communities. It profiles OPSEU/NUPGE activist Dallas Takeuchi, who works in the provincial Laboratory Inspection Unit inspecting drinking water.
Dallas has been a Champion 4 Change since the campaign started. He has been spreading the message of tax fairness and promoting quality public services to members of his union, local health coalitions and the broader community. His personal message makes it easy for everyone to understand why they need to become an ATN supporter!
April was a busy month for ATN as over a dozen women gathered in Ottawa to participate in the first training session for Women 4 Change. Women from across Canada talked about how the changes to the economy have specifically impacted women and came up with a plan of action to share that information in workplaces and communities.
There was also a training session for Champions 4 Pensions who will be spreading the word about the need for a stronger, public retirement security program in Canada. These activists left the training session energized and excited about returning home to share the information they learned and continue to build a social movement to protect public services and fight for income equality.
You will also find out why the recent 2012 federal budget isn't doing anything to help improve income inequality in Canada as well as more information about three newly released publications - Something to Value, the Ontario Commission on Quality Public Services and Tax Fairness: Interim Report; Common Good, Common Wealth, Common Values; and Canada Needs an Industrial Strategy.
